Nigeria: Bruno Labbadia, new coach of the Super Eagles

Looking for a new coach after the departure of Finidi George, Nigeria has finally found its technician. This is the German Bruno Labbadia.

This Tuesday, on its Twitter account, the NFF (Nigerian Football Federation) formalized Bruno Labbadia as coach of the national team. The German technician will quickly take office and will already lead the first two days of the CAN 2025 qualifiers (Benin on September 7 and Rwanda on the 10 in Group D).

“The NFF Executive Committee has approved the recommendation of its Technical and Development Subcommittee to appoint Mr. Bruno Labbadia as Head Coach of the Super Eagles,” said the SG of the Federation Dr. Mohammed Sanusi.
